Mike Mignola

One of the defining artists of the modern age, Mike Mignola's artwork and designs link the rich history of comics to the modern cinematic experience. Classically masterful in illustrative storytelling, Mignola works to involve the audience with atmosphere, attitude, and adventure that has been translated onto the fantasy of the silver screen. The influence is most notable in Disney's Atlantis and of course the adaptation of Mignola's signature character Hellboy by Guillermo Del Toro. They each contain his grand vision without losing the subtlety of Mignola's distinct effect with the comic page.
