Bob Powell

Bob Powell came into prominence for his "Sheena the Jungle Girl" Comics during the Golden Age. It required his fluid linework that conveyed sleek anatomy in motion and sense of dramatic tension. His work for Marvel at the dawn of the Silver Age made Powell a favorite of Marvelites everywhere as his approach was just as powerful as the stories being told. Especially beautiful are Bob Powell's compositions that fill up the page and represent some of the best of that innovative time period.
