Globally acclaimed French artist Jean Giraud, better known as Moebius, originally created this art in 1978 as a poster for the film Les Chiens, directed by Alain Jessua and starring Gerard Depardieu. Les Chiens translates in English as "The Dogs". Though unused at the time, the artwork would later be used as the cover art to Taboo #4 (1990). The artist worked in mixed media painting and pencils on board. The piece features an anthropomorphic canine dressed in a button down, sweater and tie, letting out a howl to reveal a gigantic set of jaws, while a group of similar looking creatures look on. 6.5 by 9 inches $18,500.00
