Much like Romita was a staple of Marvel, one could argue that his counterpart at DC was Nick Cardy. Much of his artwork is associated with DC in the late 60's through the 70's. His great draftsmanship along with distinctive rendering style could be prominently found all across the DC lineup of titles during that time period. It was adaptable to any genre and Cardy had mastered all of them since early in his career during the Golden Age.
