Irv Novick

Irv Novick was one of the great gentlemen of the industry. He began in the Golden Age, worked through the early 90's, and still came out to conventions to greet fans in ill health after retirement. Many of us will remember his work for DC on Batman and The Flash for the way he can tell a story with a single image. Novick's memorably consistent work on these titles during the Silver Age and after really brought his name to the fore. Irv Novick's penchant for facial expressions and linework packed each piece with action and reaction that called out for your attention.
