A wonderfully charming cover that harkens back to Miracleman's roots as Marvelman! Marvelman (and the Marvelman Family) were created for the British market when a publisher lost the license for the original Captain Marvel. Alan Moore brought the character back in the pages of Warrior magazine, and after an agreement with Eclipse Comics (and a name change to make Marvel Comics happy), the stories continued. Sadly, Garry Leach passed away in March of 2022. This piece was created with mixed media on illustration board. Signed in the lower left of the 10.5" x 16.25" image area $20,000.00
