Bernie WrightsonCycle of the Werewolf "October" Chapter Illustration
Bernie Wrightson Cycle of the Werewolf "October" Chapter Illustration Original Art (Land of Enchantment, 1983). Cycle of the Werewolf, Stephen King's calendar-based novella, inspired Wrightson to deliver some of his most ominous illustrations in a distinguished career. This fine piece represents the "October" chapter -- a trick-or-treat scenario in which protagonist Marty Coslaw (in wheelchair, with Yoda-like mask) discovers a clue to the identity of a monstrous predator. The book provided the basis for a motion picture of 1985, Silver Bullet. Ink and watercolors on illustration board, with an image area of 11" x 14.5". Excellent condition. Signed at lower right. $9,500.00
