This illustration was revised after its original hardcover publication so that it would measure up to Michael's vision of what it could be in time for the softcover publication. In the original published version the male figure faces the reader, in the final version, he is seen in profile. In the original published version the female figure has her hair tied tightly in a bun, while in the finished version her hair is fixed much more loosely. In the original published version the female character has an almost "plain" face, while in the final version she is much more beautiful. Entitled "Attalus", size is 8.5 by 11 inches and is dry mounted to formcore.
