Chris Ware "Jimmy Corrigan" Story Page Original Art (c. 1991). This "Acme Thriller" page features Jimmy Corrigan, the Smartest Kid on Earth. This tale is from his middle age years, and features a co-worker named Peggy. This is a different Peggy than the two that turn up in the Acme Novelty Library series. This page was most likely originally published in one of the Chicago newspapers that featured Chris Ware's work (Newcity or the Chicago Reader). Rendered in ink over blue pencil on illustration board with an image area of 12" x 19.5". Lightly toned and there is a small rip in the left margin of the board (but not near the image area). There is a text correction paste-up in the logo panel. In Very Good condition. Sold
