Shawn Crystal, Jim Mahfood, Klaus Janson, and Tim Sale all took on different Scalera cover prelims and did their own inked versions. This piece, to my knowledge, was not published, and the Scalera is printed blue line. You can see the difference in the white tone where it’s printed on the board.
