One of the elite artists of the field, Bill Sienkiewicz draws and paints with a unique vision. It uncompromisingly delves deeper and explores complexities within themes and ideas that had never been explored in comics. Sienkiewicz's visual attack is not particularly photographically smooth nor slick. Pen, ink, paint are combined to represent very strong moods, actions, emotions, ideals, and thought in a raw and powerful framework. He is one of the great comics pioneers that opened the artform to progressive approaches.
