Walt Simonson renders the titular characters from John Paul Leon's modern comics masterpiece The Winter Men for an Artist's Edition tribute celebrating Leon's inspiring work on the title that also features pin-ups by the likes of Bill Sienkiewicz, Peach Momoko, and Joe Quesada. The Red Square-set art was created with ink over printed blue lines on Bristol board with an approximately 10.5" x 15.75" image area. Simonson has signed/dated the piece on the left side of the image area and embedded an inscription "For JP Leon" in one of the Winter Men's legs at the left. $5,500.00
