Titled "They had heard of L'Olonnois", this illustration ran at the end of Chapter 15 "A Just Reward". Bernard Krigstein created the all-new art for this reprinting of Frank R. Stockton's 1897 story. The art was created in ink and Zipatone over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 6" x 5.5". Signed "BK" in the lower right. Lightly toned and in Very Good condition Sold
