Alex Raymond Flash Gordon and Jungle Jim Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 12-10-1939 (King Features Syndicate, 1939). "Jungle" Jim Bradley and his lady-friend Lillie DeVrille are looking quite dashing in tux and evening attire instead of jungle khakis and pith helmets. And below that in the main strip, Flash Gordon is having the Christmas sleigh-ride of his life, as he is being chased by a giant tentacled alien monster. Created in ink over graphite on two separate sections of illustration board with a combined image area of 24" x 30.5". Jungle Jim is signed with an "A.R." in the last panel, while the Flash Gordon is signed with Raymond's full name in Panel 5.
